A Gift for You.
You, my fans, readers, and social media connections inspired me. Some time ago, I posted one of my paintings and then, prodded, wrote a blog about the inspiring bird. One of you suggested I write a children’s story. Considering the suggestion, while hunting for a way to combine my writing and my art, I made several collages for a short story I wrote some time ago that won a literary prize. This resulted in Other Lives, an illustrated short story for adults.
And I also wanted to thank you for all the encouragement, suggestions, friendship and excitement we’ve shared. From cookie clubs, and recipes, to sighting my books at various crazy places, to sharing book clubs. So I decided to combine all this and give you Other Lives as a way to simultaneously thank you and celebrate the paperback launch of A Gift for My Sister. You don’t have to pay for it, and it’s very short. Here’s where you get it. At the same time, you’re automatically enrolled in a giveaway of the paperback of A Gift for My Sister which has already garnered fabulous reviews. Check it out.
Would you like to see more illustrated short stories with narratives slated for adults? Please let me know, and I thank you, so much.
